I would not mind trading Hammer for that wing for JT. Isles seem to have good options on d to allow them to trade. I like how Ledecky is getting the alumni involved and I cannot wait to find out who gets hired as ptesident.

Really feel Mayfield has a lot to offer. Love his edge and size for sure.. He looks promising for sure, I like Hammer would rather trade DeHann but whoever can get us the better return I'd trade for that wing, agree.

Much like the center position, they have a ton of D prospects. Pulock, Pelech, Mayfield, Toews, etc. At some point, these kids are going to make a push to stay with the big club. So, to me, moving Hammer for JT's winger is not that big a deal. Yes, he's on a team friendly deal. Big (frank)ing deal. With the way this team played to start the season, if I'm JT and they don't get that winger for me and we miss the playoffs or get bumped in the first round, AGAIN, I might be thinking of moving on.

I like Hamonic but I'm trading him for a Wing for JT. This Toews kid sounds promising. I think if the Leafs are willing to move JVR for Hamonic the Isles have to consider that.

Fine they can have Bailey or Kulimen. I'd rather not give up too much especially if it looks like MDC might be a player and a proven coach next year might really be able to help the current talent and prospects.
